Karen Potter

I want to feel an image not only see it. I take my inspiration from that perfect sunset, the sea and beauty in our lovely county of Sussex. Lithography allows me to explore with overlapping use of colour and texture, the mood I strive to achieve. The anticipation of laying on the final colour is a pleasure that never leaves me.

Ann D'arcy Hughes

I use the language of art and imagery, through printmaking, to express what I find cannot be relayed verbally as words have different connotations for different people. The theme running through all my work is the depiction of the human passage through life.

Jude Clynick

I am a Brighton based printmaker working mainly in lithography and wood engraving. My work is concerned with my observations of everyday moments, objects and views.

Kitty Cava

As a young Artist I loved the mystery of making ART and being part of the Art world, but I got a little lost in the process and bewitched by it, I struggled to find a way forwards to be true to myself. Now with time I am drawn to the things that make up my whole life experience and bring me pleasure. My travels and interest in Japan and its culture, my friends, my cat and dog and the places that I visit or enjoy every day. I hope you take some pleasure in them too.

Carol Parker

Linocutting allows me to experiment with mark making and texture. The process of carving and chipping away the surface is almost sculptural and always enjoyable. My influences are diverse, ranging from Japanese woodcuts, African carving to Greek pots.

Helen Brown

Helen works directly from the landscape in wood or lino. She prints her work at bip-Art printmaking workshop where she also teaches classes.

Hebe Vernon-Morris

Buildings seem to hold the imprint of the humans who construct them. the personalities, the cultures of society pass and present.  I draw the buildings as a symbol of people, they have a soul and through their clustering or colours they relate to each other, as people might.
